Sophia is a 21-year-old sound recordist and mixer residing in Houston, Texas. She enjoys working internationally, having the most experience in Paris, France, and Boston, Massachusetts.
She graduated from Emerson College and Paris College of Art's GBFA degree pathway in Film Art in 2024. The unique program allowed her to dive into European cinema culture while gaining familiarity with industry-standard equipment and spaces.
While in school, Sophia discovered her love for all things sound. She gained lots of experience recording and editing sound on her peers' sets, with her latest work, ANOK!, featuring a Dolby Atmos surround mix she designed and mixed herself.
Although she specializes in audio, Sophia is also an avid writer and directs her own projects whenever possible.
